Scouting Report
Kamren Davis has the potential to be an elite two way player at the next level. His combination of software engineering experience and sports fanatacism make him an ideal prospect for Sports Reference. Aside from being a quality athlete himself, his love of New York sports and University of Michigan athletics have cemented him as an avid sports lover and knower.
He projects to be a first round pick at the next level and will surely contribute early and often. His enthusiasm and familiarity with the product will translate to a seamless transition that will allow him to become an immediate asset.
Relevant Projects
High School Senior project included a sports media blog called Spartans and Stripes to cover local Sodus sports and the New York Yankees.
Hosted and produced several sports podcasts including The Core Four Podcast (General Sports), Bronxchester (New York Yankees), and Saturday Smoke (College Football).
College Capstone project included creating a handheld wearable and developing an application for a special needs child in order to control his iPad and more easily communicate with others.
Currently develops, deploys, and runs davishousesports.com, a site for local sports pools and events. The site provides a clean user interface for users to enjoy, as well as live scores and leaderboards. It has hosted events for golf majors, the FIFA World Cup, and local golf tournaments. Future planned events include big 4 sports playoffs, Super Bowl squares, NCAA March Madness brackets, and several local sporting events.
